Before you visit

Access to The Thai Spa is open to residents, day spa guests and members. When you arrive at The Thai Spa, you will be asked to complete a brief consultation form. At this time please inform our spa reception if you have any health concerns.

While we understand that we all rely on mobile phones in our day-to-day life, for the comfort of our other guests, they're not permitted in any of our treatment rooms or lounges. In all other areas, please be considerate and switch them to silent

Day Guests:
We are pleased to provide bathrobes, slippers and towels for your use during your visit to the Thai Spa.

Resort Guests:
Residents staying within a resort guestroom or lodge will find their robe located within their room / bathroom.  Residents are welcome to wear a resort robe to the Thai Spa from their guestroom or lodge. Alternatively, you can bring the resort robe with you for changing into at the Thai Spa changing rooms.

All Guests:

To avail of the water facilities please remember to bring your swimwear. Alternatively, swimwear is available to purchase at the Thai Spa.

For water-based treatments such as body scrubs and wraps we will provide you with disposable undergarments for your privacy. For your peace of mind, our therapists will advise you on their usage and are fully trained to drape you in order to ensure your privacy at all times.

Guests are however welcome to wear their own underwear during their massage or facial treatments if they prefer.

Our therapists are fully trained and are experts in their practice. However, please inform your therapist at any time if you are uncomfortable or feeling unwell.

All guests to the Thai Spa should remember to drink fluids, especially water, to keep them hydrated during their use of our heat facilities.

Male Treatments:

It is recommended that gentlemen shave approximately 2-3 hours before any facial treatment to increase their comfort levels.

Medical Conditions:

If you have any medical condition that you feel we should be aware of, please inform our spa reception team at the time of booking so that we can advise you on the most appropriate treatment. At the time of your treatment please also advise your therapist of your medical condition.

Pregnancy:

We have a range of tailored treatments for pre and post pregnancy which are available from your second trimester (12 weeks).

Please be advised that you will be required to sign a consultation form prior to your treatment. Use of the facilities and treatments against any medical advice received is not recommended and at your own risk.

Hotel and Lodge Guests:

Hotel guests or those staying within one of our official 25 lodges located on our 600-acre peninsula will enjoy privileged access to our infinity pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room at the Thai Spa.

To enhance your experience spa treatments are available to book (subject to availability). Guests which book a spa treatment will receive full access to the Thai Spa facilities during their booking period. Unwind in the Crystal Aroma Steam Room, Light Therapy Sauna and Tropical Rain Shower. Ahead of your spa treatment rest in Sabai Sabai Relaxation Room and afterwards in the Lap Sabai Relaxation Room.

External Self-Catering Guests:

Please be advised that unless you are staying in one of our official 25 self-catering lodges we have a strict no access policy to our spa facilities.  If you would like to avail of these facilities including the infinity pool, sauna and steam room, we have a range of heavenly day spa packages available, which include a light lunch and full access to our additional relaxation facilities (subject to our age restrictions highlighted below).

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, including in the water.

Family swim times are 9.00am – 11.00am and 4.00pm – 6.00pm daily.

Spa treatments, fitness facilities and thermal facilities are only appropriate for guests 16 years and older.

Arrival and Post-treatment:

You are required to arrive a minimum 15-minutes prior to your booking time in order to complete a consultation form and change into the robe and slippers provided. To enhance your spa experience we strongly recommend that you arrive to the Thai Spa 60-minutes before your treatment time to avail of the facilities.

Cancellation / Late Arrivals:

As a courtesy to all spa guests, cancellations must be made 24-hours in advance of your appointment time. Group bookings will be subject to the agreed cancellation period at the time of booking which is up to 7 days in advance.

Failure to cancel within the cancellation period will result in the full service rate being charged using the payment method provided. If you are running late, a phone call is always appreciated. We will endeavour to accommodate your appointment if possible. However, if we are unable to do so a full charge will apply. Your arrival time will determine the length of your treatment, which will end as scheduled.

Valuables:

We recommend you do not bring valuables to the Thai Spa as we accept no responsibility for lost or stolen valuables. Please ensure to collect all personal belongings from your changing room locker or bathrobe before leaving as the spa is not responsible for any personal items left behind.

Pool Policy:

Our pool area is strictly accessible to bathers only.

Guests must be changed into their swimwear to access the pool area. Unfortunately, we do not have a viewing area.

Please observe the displayed pool rules when using the facilities including no diving or running around the pool.

For all guest safety please do not bring any glassware or breakable items on to poolside.

Alcohol is not permitted on the poolside or within the thermal facilities.

Does The Thai Spa have a swimming pool?

The Thai Spa has an infinity pool which is available to resort guests and spa visitors.  

 

I am not staying at the resort, can I use the infinity swimming pool?

If you are not a guest at the resort, access to the Infinity Swimming Pool is regrettably limited to members only.

I am pregnant, can I avail of spa treatments?

What facilities are available at the spa? 

The spa has a range of facilities including a Sabai Sabai Room, Crystal Aroma Steam Room, Light Therapy Sauna, Tropical Rain Shower, Infinity Pool and a Lap Sabai Room.

 

I am a hotel resident, can I access the spa facilities?

Hotel residents have complimentary access to the Infinity Pool,  Light Therapy Sauna, Crystal Aroma Steam Room and Jacuzzi.

 

Is there an age requirement to use the fitness suite?

The Fitness suite is only permitted to those over the age of 16 years old.

 

Is there a treadmill in the fitness suite? 

The Fitness Suite has a range of equipment available including a treadmill, cross trainer, chest press, squat machine, rowing machine, exercise bike, spin bike, pilates balls, yoga mats, weights bench and a range of weights of varying sizes. 

 

I have never been to the spa before, do I have forms to complete before I can access the facilities? 

Upon arrival at the Thai Spa, all clients receiving a treatment will receive a consultation form. It is recommended to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to allow ample time to complete the form and get ready for your treatment. 

 

What are the opening hours of the spa?

The Thai Spa welcomes guests every day from 7 AM to 9 PM, while the reception area operates from 8 AM to 8 PM. 

 

Can I buy the spa products used during my treatment? 

The spa has a range of luxury spa products from Germaine De Capuccini  and Voya which can be purchased from the Spa Boutique to allow you to enjoy award-winning spa experiences at home.

Is a robe and slippers provided at the spa?

Guests to The Thai Spa will receive a robe and slippers on arrival. The robe must be returned at the end of your spa day. 

 

I have booked a treatment, do I need to arrive to the spa earlier than my appointment time? 

It is recommended that you arrive at The Thai Spa one hour before your treatment time in order to relax and enjoy the facilities available at The Thai Spa.
